This clean scrub is not too harsh and gritty, so is suitable for everyday use. I use this while in the shower, before getting out to shave. It really helps lift the hairs up from the skin ready for shaving. Also, even before shaving other parts of my face such as my forehead felt really smooth from using this product. The product does not go a long way and you need to use quite a lot of it on each applications. I would recommend also trying Dermaogica Skin Prep Scrub, to see which best suits your skin.
